Baked Oatmeal

This is one of our favorite breakfasts and we have it often. It is easy and quick.

Preheat oven to 350

1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar (white or brown)- I use brown NOT packed
2 eggs
2 tsp baking powder
.5 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 cups oats (quick or rolled) I use rolled
2 cups milk

Mix together oil and sugar, add eggs. Then stir in baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add oats and stir to coat. Add milk and stir.

Pour into greased 8X8 and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Serve warm. Make 9 servings.

  1. yum, we also when we want this raw we take our steel cut oats and or the groat oats and soak them over night in apple juice or almond milk...yum and healthy.

  2. I make a version of this from time to time. Love to put chocolate chips in it!
